There once was a car,
With a three-pointed star,
Plonked in the middle of its nose.
The interior was neat,
With plush leather seats,
That heat your bum when the outside has froze.

This car’s an estate,
Big enough for all freight,
And she’ll tow with copious ease.
There’s plenty of tech,
Thanks to the premium spec,
So daily driving is a breeze.

The engine’s smooth purr,
Diesel; de rigueur,
Will get you from A to B.
It’s not quite entry-level,
So middle managers will revel,
In the Mercedes class of E.

“I’m better than you,
Join the back of the queue”
Says the driver to the C-Class next door.
But his car’s on finance,
So, there’s always a chance,
That he’ll be back in a Peugeot once more.
